Article Democrats propose N.O. teacher incentives

I had mixed reviews on this article. I think that a teacher should not be sent from somewhere else or lured from somewhere else just to go to New Orleans because of the incentives. I do agree with the fact that you need a good team of teachers to effectively teach students in ANY area not just in the New Orleans area. Many teachers that arrive in N.O. will be leaving their old jobs that could be benefiting the community that they were in greatly and that presence would be lost.
